The Yardbirds departed England on 10 August and traveled in a convoy to Switzerland. Gigs happened each evening at 20:35 from 14-21 August. After their engagement in Locarno was over, the band enjoyed a short holiday before returning home.
Vocalist Keith Relf was hospitalized with complications from severe asthma prior to the band’s departure and would miss 6 weeks of gigs. Mick O’Neil fills in on all Swiss dates. Mike Vernon and Tony Carter also fill in while Keith recovered.
