Originally a 32 lane bowling alley called the Sunny Isles Bowling Center, the club opened in 1968. It was not in Miami Beach as given in other sources, but in Sunny Isles Beach, north of Miami Beach. The confusion may come from its street address of 18330 Collins Avenue. Collins Avenue is a 13 mile long major thoroughfare parallel to the Atlantic Ocean that starts in Miami Beach and ends in Sunny Isles Beach.
