Eric Clapton and his band started their concert in Brazil, at “Estádio do Morumbi” in Sao Paulo for 45 thousand people as scheduled – 9pm. Eric Clapton – a man with few words at least in Sao Paulo – dedicated the concert to Felipe Massa than started giving to the audience – as always – a great night of blues. The Set List was the same as Eric Clapton and his band performed in the 2nd night in Rio. My only doubt is about ‘Going Down Slow’ that don’t say if it was include or not in the Set List. It could be the first song of the night.

Eric Clapton and his Band were impeccable with great solos and vocals. Congratulation for whole member of the Band! I really appreciate all of you.

Gary Clark Jr. joined the Band for the Encore when everybody there could see a real duel of giants performed between two great guitarists of different generations.

Eric Clapton has the special and magical power of bring to the present days the best of the past and at the same time he knows exactly what the future would bring to us in terms of good music.

I’m very happy to seen him again in Brazil. I beg you Mr. Clapton: please do not take so long to come back. Your music makes my soul better after listening – especially in live concerts.

I was at the Eric’s concert in Sao Paulo. It was amazing! I’ve never seen nothing like this before. The setlist was wonderful. He is a genious! Thanks Eric for making my dream come true.

Eric Clapton dedicated this night in Brazil to the Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa. The set list was the same as the second night in Rio, but the performances were better. Again Gary Clark, Jr joined the band in the encore Crossroads, where he had a duel solos with Eric Clapton. Other standouts were Old Love, Layla and Cocaine.

I´ve been to maybe 190 concerts (I´m 46) and I pick very carefully which ones I´m going to. This Clapton one entered The Top 10 list. Very good sound and a great audience that understands the blues. I´ve seen Clapton the 3 times he has played here and this was the best.

Many fathers and sons groups, young kids, lots of grey hair, lots of ‘no hair’, many women, great crowd.

Screens were a little small for a 45 thousand people stadium, but still good images. After the concert and thinking about Eric´s age (as well as Springsteen´s, Stones´ and others) I´m afraid that good quality live rock/blues acts is about to end soon. I’m grateful I got to see most of the legends.

OK, we all know Clapton is not God, but he comes very close to it. Thanks EC!

It was thrilling to see a full Brazilian Arena with 45,000 singing with Clapton the late Bo Diddley’s blues "Before you Accuse Me". It was a blues concert, after all, filled with some rock’n’roll and pop gems, here and there. And I just loved too to see Mr. Clapton playing alone with his beautiful Daphne Stratocaster, without another guitarist as sideman. I only remember seeing Clapton alone with his guitar, without a guitarist sideman, in Blind Faith, Cream and before, with John Mayall, ain’ t it true? It was a unique experience that I will take with me for the rest of my live, thanks to Mr. Clapton, who is playing better than ever.
