Compton Terrace (owned by Jess Nicks, father of Stevie Nicks) was originally located on the grounds of Legend City amusement park on the border of Phoenix and Tempe from 1979 until 1983. The venue reopened in 1985 in Chandler at Firebird Lake next to the Firebird International Raceway. It closed in 1997.
