7 Jul 06
After a month-long break, Eric Clapton and his band are back on the road. The second leg of the European Tour kicked off on 7 July 2006 at Lucca Piazza Napoleone in Italy and will wrap up on 3 August in Moscow’s Red Square. The band will visit the US and Canada in the Fall, with dates continuing into 2007.
The Lucca show included gems from Eric’s back catalog along with more recent tracks from the 2005 CD, "Back Home". Musical highlights from the night included "Old Love (with Robert Cray)," "I Am Yours" and "Crossroads" (with Robert Cray singing the first verse, EC the second and both men singing the last verse together).
