This documentary was made three years after Jimi Hendrix’s untimely death in 1970. It was initially a theatrical feature.

The film contains concert footage spanning the Marquee in 1967 to his last UK performance at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970; plus Monterey (1967), Woodstock (1969), Fillmore East (1969 / 1970), and Berkeley (1970). Also features interviews with contemporaries including Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, Lou Reed, Mick Jagger, Pete Townsend, Buddy Miles and more.

Remastered and remixed for DVD with bonus features. Previously available on VHS.
