Eric Clapton Featured In “The House That Ahmet Built” DVD

On 12 June 2007, Rhino Entertainment released "Atlantic Records: The House That Ahmet Built" on DVD (NTSC). The documentary premiered on US Television on 12 May as part of PBS’ "American Masters" series. The documentary is not only a tribute to Atlantic Records, but the legacy of the late Ahmet Ertegun.

Four years in the making, it features interviews with Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Mick Jagger, Kid Rock and many others. Ertegun himself filmed hours of interviews for the project. The documentary also takes full advantage of Ertegun’s reputation as one of the great raconteurs in the music industry through specially filmed converstations between Ertegun and some of the greatest names in rock, blues and jazz. Narrated by Bette Midler.
