22 May 15
Thursday 21 May – the sixth show of the run – was no exception to the previous evenings at the Royal Albert Hall. Eric Clapton rocked the room with another strong showing. One fan who travelled from France for the concert, told Where’s Eric! that “Eric plays as if was mid-twenties and not seventy.”
Eric dedicated Tears In Heaven to his Auntie Sylvia. Stand out numbers were Pretending, I Shot The Sheriff, Let It Rain, Crossroads and Little Queen of Spades. Full length fan reviews are still pending and will be published in the 2015 Eric Clapton Tour Archive as they arrive.
This concert, along with 20 May, was filmed and recorded for potential release.
One final show at the venue happens Saturday night, 23 May. Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders open.
REVIEWS AND PHOTOS STILL NEEDED FROM ALL 2015 SHOWS! If you were lucky enough to be at one of these special concerts in London or New York City, send your review and / or photos (original, uncropped photo files please) to info@whereseric.com. Check out what fans have said so far about the shows. All reviews sent in so far have been published in the 2015 Eric Clapton Tour Archive for each performance date. The WE! Team is already hard at work on a 70th Birthday Concert Photo Gallery and will be presenting that soon.
