Called the “Man WIth The Golden Voice” and a “national treasure” by the BBC, Paul Carrack kicks off his 2015 UK Tour on 9 January with dates running through 24 July. He’ll take a brief break from his solo tour in May when he re-joins Eric Clapton’s band for 7 nights at the Royal Albert Hall. Paul is a relative newcomer to Eric’s band, having joined the touring lineup in March 2013.
Paul will be out on the road in support of his most recent album Rain Or Shine which featured the BBC Radio 2 A List Single, “I’m Losing You”. In addition to his solo chart success with songs like “Don’t Shed A Tear” and “When You Walk In The Room,” he’s been a member of hitmakers Ace, Squeeze, Roxy Music and Mike + The Mechanics.
Paul was the subject of an hour-long televsion documentary on BBC Four in 2012 and is featured in EC’s recently issued tour documentary Planes Trains and Eric.
