Eric Clapton’s 2026 European tour visited Cologne on May 15 for the second-to-last show of the spring run.
Germany has been a regular fixture on Eric’s tours since he first visited with Cream in 1967. His first concert in Cologne took place at the Sporthalle with Delaney & Bonnie & Friends on November 29, 1969. Tonight marked his ninth performance in the city and his third at Lanxess Arena.

Eric is joined on all dates this year by his longtime band: Nathan East (bass/vocals), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar/vocals), Sonny Emory (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Tim Carmon (Hammond organ/keyboards), and backing vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.
Eric, his band, and crew now move on to Munich’s Olympiahalle for the final concert of the 2026 European tour. The tour then goes on hiatus until August 23, when Eric returns to the stage for a special one-off concert on the grounds of the Royal Estate at Sandringham. Things resume in September with a limited run of US concerts ahead of the Crossroads Guitar Festival. Just six cities are scheduled: Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Kansas City. Tickets for all US dates, including the festival, are on sale now through Ticketmaster
