Eric Clapton’s 2026 Tour arrived in Germany on May 13 as the spring European run entered its final stretch.
Following a short set by special guests Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders, Eric and his band took the stage at SAP Arena in Mannheim. The concert marked his fourth appearance at the venue, following previous performances in 2006, 2014, and 2019.
Eric first performed in Germany nearly 60 years ago with Cream in February 1967, playing Star-Club dates in Hamburg and Kiel and appearing on the television program Beat-Club. Since those early Cream appearances, Germany has remained a regular fixture on Eric’s tours.
The band has settled comfortably into the material, with a set list spanning signature songs such as “I Shot The Sheriff,” “Layla,” “Tears In Heaven,” and “Crossroads,” from deeper album cuts like “Golden Ring” to the blues repertoire that remains central to Eric’s performances. The tour now moves on to its final two European dates: Cologne (May 15) and Munich (May 17).
