Eric Clapton: Kraków 2026

Eric Clapton’s 2026 Tour stopped at Tauron Arena Kraków, the largest indoor sports and entertainment venue in Poland. It was his first appearance in the country in 12 years.

Eric initially toured Poland in 1979 as part of his world tour supporting the Backless album. He next returned in August 2008 for an open-air concert in Gdynia’s Kościuszko Square in front of 20,000 people. Further visits followed in 2013 (Łódź) and 2014 (Oświęcim).

Tonight’s gig featured the deep cuts “If I Don’t Be There By Morning,” which had not been played live since 1980 until this tour, and “Golden Ring,” both from the 1978 album Backless. Eric’s first visit to Poland 47 years ago came in support of that record. During the encore song, “Before You Accuse Me,” Eric teased both “Hideaway,” and the theme song from “Peter Gunn.”

Eric is joined on all dates this year by his longtime band: Nathan East (bass/vocals), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar/vocals), Sonny Emory (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Tim Carmon (Hammond organ / keyboards), and backing vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.

Tonight’s support, as with all remaining European dates, was Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders.
