Recognized as one of the world’s most-recorded bassists, Nathan East has joined forces with his son, Noah, for their first collaborative album, Father Son. The project pairs Nathan’s signature grooves and fluid bass lines with 24-year-old Noah’s soulful piano and expressive touch on the Hammond B3.
The album blends original compositions with fresh interpretations of classics—including a reimagining of The Beatles’ Yesterday.
They’re joined by a stellar lineup of friends and collaborators, including Eric Clapton (with whom Nathan has recorded and toured for over four decades), as well as Hubert Laws, Seiko Matsuda, Merry Clayton, Billy Valentine and more.
Father Son will be released on April 18th.
Nathan returns to the road with Eric Clapton beginning April 14th in Tokyo, with concerts to follow across the UK, Europe, and the US throughout 2025. Don’t miss Eric’s live show with his powerhouse band—tickets are on sale now at ericclapton.com.
