Eric Clapton’s 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival will be released by Rhino Entertainment on DVD and Blu-Ray on 8 November in the UK and 9 November in the US. Filmed in HD, the double disc set has four hours of performances and collaborations from EC, the John Mayer Trio, Sheryl Crow, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Earl Klugh, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, Ron Wood, Jonny Lang and many more. In the US, Best Buy stores will sell an exclusive edition in both formats. Best Buy’s 30-minute bonus disc features an interview with Clapton plus performances by Gary Clark Jr. ("Don’t Owe You A Thang"), Sheryl Crow ("Everyday Is A Winding Road"), Citizen Cope ("Son’s Gonna Rise"), Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band ("Love Has Something To Say") and Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood ("Glad).
A full-length digital version will be available for purchase via iTunes. A digital rental version of the two-hour theatrical film that was shown in US theatres this past July is also expected.
