Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival U.S. Theatrical Event: 27 July

A reminder for U.S. based fans: two hours of highlights from Eric Clapton’s 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival will be shown in more than 475 movie theatres around the United States on Tuesday, 27 July. This very special one-night-only event will have behind the scenes and rehearsal footage, interviews and performances from the 26 June festival. Click here for details. The film, in HD with digital sound, will start at 7:30PM across all time zones. Presented by NCM Fathom and Rhino Entertainment. Limited seats available. Tickets are available online from NCM Fathom or at participating theatre box offices.

The Allman Brothers Band will not be featured as they did not appear due to Gregg Allman’s successful liver transplant surgery a few days before the festival. Expected to be seen instead is the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band with special guests Warren Haynes, David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Cesar Rojas (Los Lobos), Chris Stainton, Sheryl Crow and Johnny Winter, who stepped in for the Allman Brothers Band at the 26 June event.
