Laura Creamer was born in Detroit, Michigan. Her first work as a singer was performing a jingle for Kroger Foods at age 10. After studying music throughout high school and at Wayne State University, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career.
Most of her career has been spent singing and arranging back up vocals for a wide variety of artists including Bob Seger (where she worked with Marcy Levy and Shaun Murphy), Glenn Frey, Thomas Dolby, Brucy Hornsby, Cher, The Scorpions, Michael Bolton, The Black Crowes, Joe Walsh and Kid Rock.
In October 1985, she toured with Eric Clapton as a back-up vocalist, along with Marcy Levy. It is interesting to note that Laura, Marcy and Shaun Murphy all worked for Bob Seger and for Eric.
Laura has also composed songs for movies and television. Some of her best known television work was in conjunction with the television series, Highlander.
She released a solo CD entitled West Of Detroit in 2002.
