Jerry Lynn Williams wrote several songs that were recorded and performed live by Eric Clapton.
Williams wrote “See What Love Can Do”, “Something’s Happening”, and “Forever Man”. These three tracks were recorded by Eric Clapton for his album Behind The Sun (1985). Williams also composed several tracks for Eric Clapton’s Journeyman album released in 1989. They are “Pretending”, “Anything For Your Love”, “Running On Faith”, “No Alibis”, and “Breaking Point”.
Eric has performed “Forever Man,” “Pretending,” “Breaking Point,” “Running On Faith” “Anything For Your Love” and “No Alibis” in concert.
Jerry Lynn Williams also wrote songs for Bonnie Raitt (“Real Man” and “I Will Not Be Denied”), B.B. King (five songs on King’s 1992 album, King of The Blues), and Delbert McClinton’s signature song, “Givin’ It Up For Your Love.”
Williams died in December 2005 at age 57.
