Los Lobos will be out on the road in February / March 2011 supporting Eric Clapton on his US West Coast dates along with one date in Vancouver, Canada. The band previously appeared at EC’s 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival and members Cesar Rosas and David Hidalgo took part in the 2010 Festival at Chicago’s Toyota Park. Los Lobos was founded in East Los Angeles, California in the late 70s. In 1984, they had their first major label release, How Will The Wolf Survive?. Since that time, they have released numerous albums and have won several Grammy Awards. They scored a Number One single with "La Bamba." Their most recent album is Tin Can Trust (Shout! Factory). The album has received two 2011 Grammy Award Nominations. “Do The Murray” is up for Best Rock Instrumental and Tin Can Trust has been nominated for Best Americana Album.
