Help Raise Funds For The George Harrison Fund For UNICEF

Special online showing of The Concert For Bangladesh now through Monday. Join musicians worldwide in a Month of Giving. Pay tribute to the Concert for Bangladesh and support UNICEF’s famine relief in the Horn of Africa. George Harrison was an inspiration to Eric Clapton and musicians across the world. In 1971, his friend Ravi Shankar asked George to help the children of Bangladesh. He took action by hosting The Concert for Bangladesh in support of UNICEF. The concert took place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. EC, along with Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Billy Preston, Leon Russell and others joined George on stage in what was rock music’s first fundraising concert. Now, Eric Clapton is proud to join the anniversary celebration and honor George’s legacy by supporting The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF. Through 1 August 2011 you can watch a live stream of the concert, download and donate to help children affected by the famine in Africa.
