Genesis Publications Announces “Eric Clapton Six String Stories”

Genesis Publications has announced a forthcoming book, “Eric Clapton Six String Stories: The Crossroads Auction Guitars 1999-2011.” The signed limited edition book will benefit The Crossroads Centre, which was founded by Eric Clapton. The book documents Clapton’s career through the tools of his trade. A quote from Clapton on the guitars featured in the book states, “Each individual guitar seems to have this in-built virtuosity of its own … it can take you another 10 miles down the road. Once it stops, it’s time to move on to the next one. My career has been divided up with these instruments.” Although a publication date has not yet been announced, those interested can register their interest via genesis-publications.com to receive a free brochure by postal mail and be among the first to order.

Genesis Publications is noted for creating limited edition books that are works of art in themselves. Many of their lushly designed books have focused on rock music such as “Maximum Who,” “Classic Hendrix,” “Faces 1969-1975,” “Killer Queen,” “Early Dylan,” “Jimmy Page,” and “The Beatles In Germany”. Genesis Publications has previously teamed with Eric Clapton to produce “24 Nights”, a chronicle of his now-legendary 24 performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1991. He also contributed to two others, “Concert For George” and “George Harrison Live In Japan.”
