Markee, Dave

 Dave Markee made his mark as a bass player during sessions for artists as diverse as The Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading, The Who, Henry Mancini, and Bing Crosby.

Dave signed on as Eric Clapton’s bassist in September 1979 and remained in the band until 1982. He can be heard on Just One Night and Another Ticket.

Dave Markee is senior pastor and worship leader at Folly’s End Christian Fellowship. He founded the Croydon Jazz Festival in 2006 and serves as the Festival Director.
