Baah, Anthony "Reebop" Kwaku

Anthony "Reebop" Kwaku Baah is a percussionist who played at Eric Clapton’s “comeback” concerts at the Rainbow Theater in 1973. He can be heard on the live album released from those concerts alongside Eric, Pete Townshend, Jim Capaldi and others.

Reebop was born on 13 February 1944 in Konongo, Ghana. He died of a cerebral hemorhage in Stockholm, Sweden on 12 January 1983.

He was a member of the band Traffic from 1971 to 1974. In 1971, he was living in Sweden and jammed with the band on stage and joined them soon after. Following his days in Traffic, he joined Can (a German band) with Rosko Gee. Can released three albums, the last in 1979. He also played on Steve Winwood's first solo album in 1977. Reebop also played on the Rolling Stones album, Goats Head Soup (1973).
